To aid in understanding the results of the measurements, they are displayed on a histogram from 29,000 hip measurements which has been colored by quartile. This is our own data, not published in any veterinary journal.

The image is assumed to be a VD image. The use of a DV image will result in the hips being mis-labelled (left and right reversed).

We recommend using images with legs approximately straight-down, rather that bent in a frog-leg like fashion.
